    • Post checks for clients into bankruptcy client’s system
    • Create deposits for the posted checks
    • Process the deposits
    • Cross-train in other areas of Electronic Banking
    • Answer phones in the Account Services department

Credit Analyst
Lubbock, Texas
8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Monday - Friday

  • DESCRIPTION OF POSITION FUNCTION:
    Include, but are not limited to:
    • Prepare financial spreadsheets with web based software and/or MS Excel.
    • Calculate financial ratios to evaluate customers' financial status.
    • Analyze credit data and financial statements, both business and personal to determine the degree of risk involved in extending credit or lending money.
    • Analyze financial data such as income growth, quality of management, and market share to determine expected profitability of loans.
    • Preparation of loan approval packages to be presented to appropriate loan committees for approval.
    • Prepare reports that assess the degree of risk involved in extending credit or lending money.
    • Pull and assess personal credit reports.
    • Pull and assess Dun & Bradstreet reports.
    • Assess certain industry data in determining specific credit risks associated with lending to businesses within that industry.
    • Financial statement monitoring.
    • Loan covenant and borrowing base monitoring
    • Overtime may be required
    The successful candidate will be expected to participate in LNB/CNB’s formal Officer/Credit Training Program which, when combined with the job duties of a credit analyst, is to prepare the participant for a career as a commercial relationship manager.

     

  • JOB SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
    • College degree in finance, accounting or related field preferred. College degree with other emphasis may be considered if applicant has some finance or accounting background.
    • Banking experience required unless applicant has college degree in preferred field.
    • Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.


Part-Time Personal Banker
Lubbock, Texas
8:00am - 1:00pm, Monday - Thursday
8:00am - 5:00pm, Friday

  • DESCRIPTION OF POSITION FUNCTION:
    • Greet lobby/branch customers and direct as necessary.
    • Respond to customer inquiries concerning bank products and services.
    • Establish new customer relationships by processing new account applications for Deposit, Savings, Certificate of Deposit, and Debit Card accounts.
    • Respond to customer inquiries concerning account transactions such as issuing Stop Payments, Closing Deposit Accounts, Transaction Disputes, Research requests, and General Account Inquiries.
    • Proactively pursue business development opportunities.
    • Contribute to the development of cross-selling opportunities and incentive plans within existing customer base.
    • Various teller duties associated with operating small branch in satellite location.
  • JOB SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
    • Proven excellence in both written and oral communication.
    • Proven ability to interact with customers and support staff to achieve superior service quality.
    • Demonstrated ability to function with limited supervision.
  • JOB SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS PREFERRED:
    • Previous experience in platform banking applications.
    • Previous experience in retail sales, preferably at a supervisory position.
    • PC experience including Windows and Microsoft Office applications.
