Our debit card fraud detection system has recently been enhanced to provide text alerts for suspicious transactions on your debit card. This feature will make it faster and easier to identify fraud on your account, and give us the opportunity to prevent additional fraudulent charges from occurring. Here's what you need to know:
Text Fraud Alerts will include the standard sample verbiage: "FreeMsg: Lubbock National Bank Fraud Dept: Suspicious txn on card 1234: $20.00 processed by Fred's Jewelry Store. If authorized reply YES, otherwise reply NO. To Opt Out reply STOP.” Please note that your response is not an approval or declination of the transaction in question. As transactions must be approved or declined immediately, the transaction will have already been approved or declined. A ‘NO’ response will result in your card being blocked to prevent any additional transactions. A ‘YES’ response will indicate that the transaction was authorized, and your card will not be blocked. A ‘STOP’ reply will turn off future SMS/Text alerts.
No enrollment is required to take advantage of this fraud protection service. You may verify that your phone number on file is up to date via online banking, by calling Customer Service at 888-607-4277, or by visiting your local Lubbock National Bank branch.
