Occasional Overdraft Protection Service

 

Upon approval, accounts may have a $600.00 automatic overdraft limit. A Non-Sufficient Funds fee may apply to overdrafts created by check, in-person withdrawal, ATM withdrawal or other electronic means. This privilege is discretionary, and you agree, upon notice from us, to deposit funds sufficient to cover any overdraft and resulting service charges on your account. Overdrafts must be paid within ten (10) business days of the initial overdraft or your Overdraft Protection privilege may be revoked and/or your account may be closed. Checking accounts, savings accounts or bank issued lines of credit may also be linked for Overdraft Protection purposes. Please see a Personal Banker for details.Overdrafts are paid at the bank's discretion. We are not obligated to pay any item presented for which funds are not available, and we do not guarantee that we will always authorize any type of transaction.

Fees

A fee will be assessed for each item presented for which there are insufficient funds. The fee assessed will be up to $19.00 per item, depending on the account type.

Check Card Transactions - Opting In

The Bank can authorize and pay overdrafts on everyday check card transactions on accounts which have been approved for an automated overdraft limit. If you want the Bank to authorize and pay overdrafts on everyday check card transactions, please contact a Personal Banker to complete an Opt-In form.

Opting Out

You may opt out of the Overdraft Protection service in its entirety, or you may opt out of overdrafts on everyday check card transactions at any time by contacting a Personal Banker and completing an Opt-Out form.
