Commercial Lending Assistant - 50th Street Branch

Job Duties:

  • Provide quality customer service and work toward the generation, promotion and maintenance of a quality work environment for the staff of Lubbock National Bank.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and provide team support.

  • Provide friendly, fast and efficient customer service.
  • Handle customers in a professional manner, while following established policies and procedures.
  • Perform as a paying and receiving teller.
  • Process customer deposits, loan payments, money orders, cashier’s checks, utilities and reconcilement of above items at end of day.
  • Open new accounts, sell and redeem CD’s.

Requirements:

A high school diploma is required.  Previous work experience required and banking experience preferred. Teller, new accounts, CD’s and general operations experience is preferred.  Typing skills of 45-50 wpm, 10-key by touch, PC literacy, and general clerical

and secretarial skills are required.  The ability to work and communicate well with customers and fellow employees both orally and in written form, is very important, as is a strong marketing/sales orientation.  Must be neat in appearance and be able to work a flexible schedule.
